Our Team

We are a community of young adults led by young adults. Our members are the ones who make this community what it is!

All team members are volunteers and we are grateful for their “Yes!” to serving our community with their time and talents!

Executive Team

Our Executive Team is responsible for discerning and directing Salt + Light’s strategy and vision. This directing happens through intercessory prayer, coaching other leaders, and overseeing rather than running the events themselves.

    I ensure alignment to our mission and oversee the operational side of our organization so leaders can focus on hosting their wonderful events.

    I assist with taking minutes, record retention, and brainstorming with the team on ways to create community for the diocese’s young adults!

    Treasurer

    As Treasurer, I help manage the budget and fundraising efforts to ensure that ministries have the necessary funds to be successful.

    I attend as many events as possible to make sure everyone feels welcome, connect with our young adults, and learn how we can better serve our community while growing together in faith!

    I line up speakers and plan Pint Night events to bring the Salt+Light community together.

    Abide Coordinator

    As the Abide Coordinator, I organize one of Salt + Light's bi-monthly large events. Abide begins with Eucharistic Adoration, music and opportunities for Confession, followed by a fun social gathering, where young adults can connect, build friendships, and grow in community.

    Excursions Lead

    I organize fun events and interesting things to do around Lincoln and the surrounding areas, getting the Catholic community together, building stronger friendships and making new ones.

    I serve the women of our community by creating opportunities for meaningful connection through monthly gatherings that foster authentic, flourishing friendships.

    I help serve the men in the Salt + Light Community with Bible Studies and communal events.

    Spiritual Lead

    I plan and coordinate retreats for the Salt+Light community. If you have ideas for what you'd like to do for a retreat send me a message on Band!

    Sports Lead

    I construct the friendly competition of sports for the Salt+Light members to participate in. Send me any recommendations!

Interested in becoming a leader?

Our leaders are always looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping with various events throughout the year.
